Job Description
HTF Staffing is urgently seeking a Special Education Teacher (LBS1) for a full-time opportunity at North Elementary School in Villa Park, Illinois, for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details:
- Position: Special Education Teacher (LBS1)
- Location: Villa Park, IL 60181
- School: North Elementary School
- Student Population: Elementary
- Caseload: Approximately 15 students
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Orientation: August 11 & 12, 2026
- School Year: August 13, 2026 – May 28, 2027
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
- Maintain accurate student records and monitor academic progress.
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement required.
- Previous school-based Special Education experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
