Class A CDL Local Driver

The Class A CDL Local Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods within a 100-mile radius while returning home daily. This role involves independent driving, ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining accurate electronic logs, and managing customer interactions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough load inspections before departure
• Navigate local routes within the surrounding 100-mile area
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
• Manage timely delivery of goods to customers
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs using electronic logging devices
• Engage professionally with customers during deliveries
• Effectively manage time to meet delivery schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year of commercial driving experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and safety compliance
• Proven ability in route navigation and time management
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Preferred to have a TWIC card or STA card
