Production Manager Role & Responsibilities

Here is the role description and breakdown of responsibilities for the Production Manager position.

One of the most important things to note about this role is that no prior experience is required. We will train them on everything. However, to be successful, the candidate must bring the following traits to the table:

● A natural understanding of how things are made.

Here is the roadmap for what their training and eventual responsibilities will look like:

Phase 1: Hands-On Floor Training (First Few Months) They will spend 100% of their time learning how to perform every manufacturing function at CSI Creative so they can become highly proficient in all production inputs. This includes:

● CNC Zund cutting.

● Hand glue assembly.

● Laminating material and cutting metal.

● Learning to read and interpret shop drawings, assembly instructions, and production release packets (including dimensions and CAD drawings).

Phase 2: Team Leadership & Quality Control Once they understand the floor, they will transition into a leadership role where they will:

● Direct the team and clearly explain how to execute specific jobs.

● Drive product quality improvements and oversee quality assurance.

● Manage the team's individual quotas and daily production output.

● Solve conflicts and effectively manage personnel.

Phase 3: Scheduling & Office Coordination In the final phase of their onboarding, they will step into the broader management duties:

● Train directly with Nate to learn how to schedule production.

● Act as the primary point of coordination between the production floor and the office project management team.
