Custodian I

The Role:

Our site inSan Luis Obispois seeking aCustodianto join our team.The Custodianis responsible forcleaning within the facilities,maintaininga clean and healthy work environment.

WhatYou'llDo:

• Cleans sanitizes and deodorizes restrooms, and break areas including all fixtures

• Responsible for collecting rubbish, recyclable materials and properly placing them in the bulk collection area

• Operate the cardboard bailer including banding bails

• Sweeps floors, vacuums carpets

• Keeps the Maintenance Supervisor informed of all issues

• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned

• Maintains a clean and safe work area

• Wears required Personal Protective Equipment

• Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safetyprocedures

• Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor and identifies / corrects potential unsafe conditions

• Dusting all surfaces and cleaning vents

• Responsible for cleaning facilities equipment

• Assistswith relocating employees within the facility

• Assistswith setting up and tearing down for special occasions

• Let'sthe facilities supervisor know when supplies need to be ordered

• Any other duties as assigned

What We Seek:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., walk and stand duringentireshift.

• Works in a manufacturing and office environment.
