Summary:
- The Compensation Analyst I is an entry level compensation role responsible for transactional compensation actions and analytics, including requests from TA, HR, and the business.
- In this role, the incumbent will participate in salary surveys, job evaluations, and analytical assignments involving the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
- Participate in the administration and delivery of compensation programs.
- Participate in the annual global compensation salary survey process.
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing.
- Respond to compensation inquiries, ensuring on time delivery to HR and the business, adhering to high service levels and SLA requirements.
- Support the development of salary increase proposals and promotions through data-driven analysis.
- Assist with research and analysis of compensation and reward programs.
- Ensure compensation practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across all countries.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to support compensation programs and practices.
- Provide support in the administration of salary planning, merit planning, and incentive programs.
- Approve job/compensation-related actions in Workday.
- Prepare compensation reporting and analyses.
- Assist and support compensation-related projects, processes, and audits as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Math, or related field required with 0-2 years of related experience in HR, Finance, or analytical data-focused role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas) required.
- Masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent years of related experience.
- Experience with HRIS Systems (Workday preferred), including running queries, accessing and manipulating data.
- Exposure to/experience in job analysis and job evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.
- Candidate must be in east coast time zone.
- Excel skills with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tales and formulas.
- Attention to details.
