Title: HR Specialist I / Compensation Analyst I
Work Location: Remote-but needs to work EST time zone hours
Duration: 6+ Months
Shift Timing: 1st shift | 8am-5pm M-F


Summary:
  • The Compensation Analyst I is an entry level compensation role responsible for transactional compensation actions and analytics, including requests from TA, HR, and the business.
  • In this role, the incumbent will participate in salary surveys, job evaluations, and analytical assignments involving the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the administration and delivery of compensation programs.
  • Participate in the annual global compensation salary survey process.
  • Conduct job evaluations and market pricing.
  • Respond to compensation inquiries, ensuring on time delivery to HR and the business, adhering to high service levels and SLA requirements.
  • Support the development of salary increase proposals and promotions through data-driven analysis.
  • Assist with research and analysis of compensation and reward programs.
  • Ensure compensation practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across all countries.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support compensation programs and practices.
  • Provide support in the administration of salary planning, merit planning, and incentive programs.
  • Approve job/compensation-related actions in Workday.
  • Prepare compensation reporting and analyses.
  • Assist and support compensation-related projects, processes, and audits as needed.
Minimum Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Math, or related field required with 0-2 years of related experience in HR, Finance, or analytical data-focused role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent years of related experience.
  • Experience with HRIS Systems (Workday preferred), including running queries, accessing and manipulating data.
  • Exposure to/experience in job analysis and job evaluation.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.
  • Candidate must be in east coast time zone.
Required Skills:
  • Excel skills with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tales and formulas.
  • Attention to details.

  • Pedi experience is a +
Education Requirement:
  • HS/GED.
