Position Title: Phlebotomist II
Work Location: 750 Morphy Ave, Fairhope, AL
Assignment Duration: 6+ months
Shift- 2pm-10:30pm Mon-Fri with Rotating Weekends
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Required to wear N95 mask and Red scrubs*

Position Summary

Register patients, collect labs, process specimens, prepare specimens for shipping, restock supplies, order supplies, rotate expired supplies, and perform general office duties.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Customer Service experience.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing.

Working Conditions

• * How many draws are required daily? - 20-25

  * What is the work environment? - 4 floor hospital

  * If this is a patient service center, how big is the location? - Hospital setting

  * How long is the worker expected to stand? - The worker is expected to stand and walk the majority of the 8-hour shift.

  * Are there any specialties? - There are no required specialties, the candidate should be able to assist all patients who present for services from infants to geriatrics.

  * Will this person work with a team or alone? - There will be a team huddle will draw alone

  * How many weeks of training is required at the start of this role? - Will draw with a lead until can draw alone
