Operate dredging equipment to safely and efficiently extract raw materials in accordance with production goals.
Monitor dredge systems and controls to maintain optimal performance and material quality.
Conduct routine inspections and report equipment issues to support reliable operations.
Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
Collaborate with plant and site personnel to ensure efficient material flow and site productivity.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate and monitor dredging, mining, or heavy equipment systems.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and communicate equipment performance concerns.
Ability to work independently, make sound operational decisions, and adapt to changing conditions.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to support site operations and production objectives.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
Successful candidate must meet all applicable licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements for the position.
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
Capable of working on and around dredging equipment, including accessing elevated platforms and confined work areas when required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment consistent with operational needs.
Must be able to work near water and maintain awareness of surrounding equipment and environmental conditions.
Ability to perform duties safely while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Starting Pay $26.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)
