Special Education Teacher in Colonial Beach, VA

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Virginia Special Education License
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager highly valued
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Effective communication and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in alignment with students’ IEPs
• Manage all aspects of special education case management, including IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Conduct assessments, analyze results, and tailor teaching strategies for individual student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication related to student progress and services
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
