Certified School Nurse - Zion, IL

Location: Zion, IL

Assignment: August 17, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Position Type: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join a supportive school district in Zion, IL for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to students throughout the school day.
• Assess and respond to student health concerns and emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies.
• Develop and maintain Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and academic success.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification required.
• Active PEL
• Previous school nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Assignment Details:

• Full-time schedule following the school calendar.
• School year contract: August 17, 2026 – May 27, 2027.

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $33.42. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
