Qualifications/Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school support role is highly valued
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong adaptability to work with varying student needs and caseloads, including sub paras
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other educational staff
• Open availability throughout the week to accommodate changing schedules
• Reliable transportation for assignments across multiple locations in the region

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist educators with classroom instruction, activities, and student engagement
• Support students individually or in small groups, adapting guidance as needed
• Supervise and monitor classroom or designated learning environments for safety and productivity
• Implement lesson materials, behavior strategies, and interventions as directed
• Contribute to documenting student progress and sharing insights with the educational team
• Assist with transitions, movement between classrooms, and classroom organization
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
