Job Description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ growth and development as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity offers a diverse and engaging caseload within an onsite school setting close to Longmont, CO. The assignment spans from mid-August to early June, allowing for a fulfilling school year experience with a unique four-day workweek.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across both elementary and high school age groups
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational goals
- Work onsite Tuesday through Friday (34 hours weekly), servicing elementary schools for three days and a high school one day per week
- Consult with educators, families, and staff to implement strategies supporting students within the classroom and school environment
- Maintain accurate and timely reports and progress documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student success
