We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community-based vaccination program as an Immunization Nurse Float. In this patient-facing role, you will administer a variety of vaccines while delivering exceptional clinical care in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient-focused, and committed to promoting public health through safe and efficient immunization services.

- Administer immunizations including Influenza (Flu), COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis, Shingles, Pneumococcal, Tdap, RSV, HPV, Varicella, Meningococcal, and other CDC-recommended vaccines. \n
- Perform patient assessments and review medical history to determine vaccine eligibility. \n
- Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care. \n
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate emergency intervention when necessary. \n
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with company policies and state regulations. \n
- Follow infection prevention protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). \n
- Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and store leadership to ensure efficient clinic operations. \n
- Maintain vaccine inventory, storage, handling, and cold-chain compliance. \n
- Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a welcoming and compassionate healthcare environment. \n
- Adapt to changing clinic schedules and float to assigned retail locations as needed. \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support vaccination outreach programs. \n

- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia. \n
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration. \n
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. \n
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration and vaccine delivery. \n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. \n
- Flexibility to work varying schedules based on business needs. \n
- Must not appear on the DEA Excluded Parties List. \n
- High School Diploma or GED (verification required). \n
- Prior CVS/Aetna experience is not required. \n

- Previous experience in retail health, public health, occupational health, or community vaccination clinics. \n
- Experience administering high-volume immunization programs. \n
- Knowledge of CDC immunization schedules and vaccine storage requirements. \n
