Job Summary\n

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community-based vaccination initiative. This is a patient-facing, in-store role responsible for administering a wide range of immunizations while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, adaptable, and committed to promoting public health through safe and efficient vaccine administration.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Administer a variety of vaccines, including but not limited to:\n
      \n
    • Influenza (Flu)
    • \n
    • COVID-19
    • \n
    • MMR
    • \n
    • Shingles
    • \n
    • Pneumonia
    • \n
    • Hepatitis
    • \n
    • Tdap
    • \n
    • Other CDC-recommended immunizations
    • \n
  • \n
  • Perform patient assessments prior to vaccine administration.
  • \n
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all immunizations.
  • \n
  • Educate patients on vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
  • \n
  • Follow CDC guidelines, state regulations, and company vaccination protocols.
  • \n
  • Maintain infection prevention and safety standards; PPE will be provided.
  • \n
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and store teams.
  • \n
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism.
  • \n
  • Adapt to changing workflows and support vaccination clinics as operational needs require.
  • \n
  • Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality care and excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
  • \n
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • \n
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient assessment.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • \n
  • Comfortable working in a retail healthcare setting.
  • \n
  • Flexible with work schedules based on business needs.
  • \n
  • Must not appear on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • \n
  • High School Diploma or GED (verification required).
  • \n

  • Previous immunization clinic or retail healthcare experience.
