Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with 1+ year of experience to work in a hospital-based Vascular Lab on a 4x10 day shift schedule.

Details\n

\n
• Hospital-based Vascular Lab setting
\n
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound exams across a full range of vascular studies
\n
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability
\n
• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services
\n
• Epic EMR — experience required for consideration
\n
• Level 1 Trauma experience required for consideration
\n
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
\n
• On-call rotation includes holidays, nights, and weekends
\n
• Weekend shift rotation required
\n
• Holiday coverage is negotiable
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of relevant vascular technologist experience
\n
• Associate's degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
\n
• Current BLS (AHA)
\n
• ARDMS (RVT) or CCI RVS certification required
\n
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
\n
• License required if applicable
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Performs vascular ultrasound exams per physician orders and standing protocols, documenting findings to communicate with physicians on patient history and exam results
\n
• Maintains imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment
\n
• Responsible for proper cleaning of equipment and exam rooms between patients
\n
• Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for 1 continuous year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any facility within the system
\n
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
\n
• Interviews are conducted by facility leadership
\n
