We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community-based vaccination initiative. The selected candidate will administer a wide range of immunizations, including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines, while providing exceptional patient care in a retail healthcare environment.
\nThe ideal candidate is clinically confident, adaptable, and passionate about preventive healthcare. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility with scheduling, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-facing setting.

- Administer a variety of immunizations, including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis A & B, Tdap/Td, HPV, Shingrix (Herpes Zoster), Pneumococcal, Meningococcal, RSV, Varicella, Polio, and other CDC-recommended vaccines. \n
- Perform patient assessments prior to vaccine administration. \n
- Review medical histories, allergies, contraindications, and immunization records. \n
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions following immunization and provide appropriate interventions when necessary. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and state regulations. \n
- Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care. \n
- Follow CDC infection prevention and vaccine storage/handling guidelines. \n
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies. \n
- Maintain vaccine inventory and ensure proper cold-chain management. \n
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and clinic staff. \n
- Provide exceptional customer service while promoting a positive patient experience. \n
- Adapt to changing clinic workflows and support multiple vaccination initiatives. \n
- Demonstrate flexibility with work schedules based on business needs. \n

- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas. \n
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in immunization, public health, ambulatory care, urgent care, occupational health, or primary care. \n
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. \n
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration and vaccine delivery. \n
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. \n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment. \n
- Flexibility with scheduling and work hours. \n
- Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List. \n
- High School Diploma or GED (verification required). \n

- Previous immunization or vaccination clinic experience. \n
- Experience administering high-volume vaccination programs. \n
- Retail clinic or community health experience. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and immunization documentation systems. \n
