American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery / Postpartum position in New Albany, IN, working nights on a 4x12 schedule with NRP and STABLE certifications required.

- Postpartum (Mother/Baby) unit within a Women's Health Services department \n
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active, unrestricted RN license in Indiana or a Compact state currently in hand \n
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE \n
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred \n
- Candidate must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration \n
- Proficiency with computer systems and clinical applications, or ability to be trained \n
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures \n

- Position focuses on postpartum patient care within the Women's Health Services unit \n
- Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, patient and family education, and coordination of discharge planning \n
- Nursing practice is evidence-based and incorporates all phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration \n
- Previous nursing experience preferred but not required — first-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Active participation in unit-based quality improvement activities is expected \n
