Job Summary:
\n Provides health care services by applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor aligned with medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions to provide appropriate care and ensure successful completion of exams or procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of experience.
\n
• One (1) year of mammography diagnostic experience.
\n
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Great interpersonal skills.
\n
• Outstanding eye-hand coordination.
\n
• Ability to operate all equipment related to the job.
\n
• Attention to detail.
\n
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
\n
• Maintains continuing education hours required by the licensing agency.
\n
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
\n

Required Education:\n

\n
• Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program.
\n
• OR Military training graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program as validated by the worker's active ARRT Certification.
\n

Required Certifications & Licensure:\n

\n
• BLS Certification.
\n
• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry in Radiography RT(R).
\n
• Current Commonwealth of Kentucky Radiation License with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
\n
• ARRT (CT) Certification.
\n
