American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency in a combined adult/pediatric, non-trauma ED setting.

- Combined adult and pediatric, non-trauma Emergency Department setting \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM \n
- Patient ratio of 1:5 \n
- At least 8 weekend shifts required per contract, with holiday coverage as needed \n
- Floating required as needed \n
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory \n
- Clinical skills required include blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, IV insertion, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration, CPAP/BiPAP management, ABG interpretation, ventilated patient care, and triage \n
- \n
- Active NC or compact RN license required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required \n
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory \n
- Experience with triage required \n
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration \n
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration \n

- All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials will not be provided by the facility \n
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences \n
