Maintenance Technician

Hotel on North is a modern boutique hotel in downtown Pittsfield. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the property. This role focuses on responding to guest maintenance requests, completing small repairs, and assisting with ongoing maintenance projects throughout the hotel. This position is expected to work approximately 32 hours per week, and weekend availability is required.

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve minor issues in guest rooms and public areas

Assist with repairs and maintenance projects throughout the property

Perform routine tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and minor paint touch-ups

Conduct property walk-throughs and report maintenance concerns

Help keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies

Follow safety procedures and hotel standards

Requirements:

Some general maintenance, handyman, or facilities experience preferred

Comfortable using basic tools and performing minor repairs

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed

Reliable and able to assist with a variety of maintenance tasks

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as required
