Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
\n Location: Columbus, OH
\n Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
\n Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (possibility of extension)

\n JOB DESCRIPTION:
\n The RN will provide comprehensive patient assessments, manage complex cardiac and critical care therapies, administer medications, monitor hemodynamic status, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care. Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, interpreting ABGs, monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing dysrhythmias, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, performing vascular access procedures, caring for central/PICC/arterial lines, administering blood products, and responding to emergency clinical situations.
\n The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience with expertise in cardiac critical care, mechanical ventilation, advanced cardiac monitoring, and management of critically ill patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. The RN must be proficient with EPIC documentation and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced academic medical center environment.

\n Required Qualifications:
\n Minimum two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience required.
\n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
\n Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
\n Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
\n Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
\n Experience caring for critically ill adult patients in an ICU setting.
\n Certifications Required:
\n Registered Nurse (RN) License
\n Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
\n Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
\n NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
\n Preferred Experience:
\n Previous travel nursing experience.
\n Academic medical center or teaching hospital experience.
\n Cardiac ICU or Medical ICU experience.
\n Experience with: Impella devices, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), CRRT/CVVHD, Pulmonary artery catheter monitoring, Post-cardiac catheterization/interventional recovery, Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
\n Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record documentation.
