Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\nDay shift, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:30 - 17:00, 09:00 - 17:30, or 09:30 - 18:00).
Job Description\nWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in an infusion center to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care for various oncological conditions, including solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, and chronic leukemia.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous medications. \n
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs. \n
- Perform bone marrow aspirations and intravesicular chemotherapy. \n
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and procedures. \n
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care. \n
- Utilize advanced equipment, including ultrasound-guided IV machines and blood warmers. \n
- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, particularly in infusion or outpatient oncology settings. \n
- Active Registered Nurse license. \n
- BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications required; ACLS and OCN preferred. \n
- Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. \n
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required. \n
