Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients, managing a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
\n
• Administer common drips, including Pitocin, Insulin, and antibiotics, using Alaris IV pumps.
\n
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, such as the prohibition of artificial nails in patient care areas.
\n
• Collaborate with a charge nurse who will oversee the department without taking direct patient assignments.
\n
• Participate in a pass/fail open-book exam during orientation, securing a 90% or higher to continue employment.
\n
• Work every 3rd weekend as part of the standard weekend requirements, with blocked scheduling approved.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license in the state of Nebraska.
\n
• Minimum of 1-year experience in labor and delivery nursing.
\n
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required.
\n
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
\n
• Ability to adhere to a 50-mile radius rule for licensure submission.
\n
• Willingness to assist in MedSurg tasks if required, although not standard practice.
\n
