Job Description
We are hiring a 32-hour Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic care team at The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill!
Weekly pay up to $34 an hour with weekly pay.
As a COTA, you assist in the provision of collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist and participate in clinical program development.
Education & Experience:
As a minimum, an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
Current licensure by the applicable state agency.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with direct patient treatments in accordance with a physician's order and established plan of care
Participate in team meetings and decision-making processes
Consult with patients, residents, and caregivers
Monitor efficiencies and document activities in a timely manner
Demonstrate consistent knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
Participate in clinical program development and implementation
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Specific Requirements:
Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Communication skills needed for directing staff, customer relations, marketing activities.
Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and direct patient care.
Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds.
