Certified Occupational Therpay Assistant (COTA)
Located in Norwich, NY
Salary: $26/hr. - $29/hr. *Depending on experience*
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and provides family-oriented services to the home health patient with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; fine motor, sensory motor, and developmental delays; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders
- Providing initial and ongoing assessment to determine the level of functioning.
- Preparing clinical progress notes.
- Evaluating outcomes.
- Planning Discharge.
Qualifications:
- NYS License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Must have prior experience as a COTA
- Must have experience in long-term care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
