About the Role:

Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our dedicated healthcare team! Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional needs

• Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including treatment activities, exercises, and education, under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist

• Monitor patient progress, report on treatment outcomes, and make recommendations for continued care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to patient care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop effective treatment plans

• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies

• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
