Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our dedicated healthcare team! Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including treatment activities, exercises, and education, under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
Monitor patient progress, report on treatment outcomes, and make recommendations for continued care
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop effective treatment plans
Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
