Physical Therapy Assistant - Located in Salamanca, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility
  • Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
  • Instructing patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for home, as well as injury prevention.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Must have experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Must have long term care experience
  • Well versed with documentation writing
