Your Role as a Physical Therapist (PT)

As a PT at Ellisville Rehab & Nursing, you will play a key role in improving residents’ mobility and quality of life by:

• Evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Providing direct physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders.

• Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and ensuring quality of care.

• Completing all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

• Educating residents, families, and staff on treatment plans, exercises, and safety.

• Participating in discharge planning, including recommendations for continued care and equipment needs.

What You Need

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Missouri.

• Strong clinical and communication skills.

• Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric settings preferred.
