Stand Up Forklift Operator- Freezer/Cooler

An established warehouse operation in Downtown El Paso is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join its team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and retrieve products throughout the warehouse.
• Perform receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, and inventory transfer activities accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight from trailers and delivery vehicles.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for material handling activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper materials flow control and inventory management practices.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and warehouse best practices.
• Comply with Good Distribution Practices (GDP), food safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
• Support warehouse operations by assisting with additional duties as assigned by supervisors or warehouse personnel.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment through professionalism and a strong work ethic.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Stand-Up Forklift Operator Certification required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count inventory and product quantities.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable working in a cooler and freezer environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely operate warehouse equipment throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends as needed.

• Must be able to work Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Rotating schedule as business needs requires
