Physical Therapist Assistant

Priority Care Rehab Staffing is hiring for Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) in Yonkers, NY!

Support our PT clinical team delivering hands-on therapy to post-acute and long-term care residents. You'll work under PT supervision to carry out individualized treatment plans in a collaborative SNF environment. As an independent contractor you'll enjoy higher hourly rate and unlimited overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Implement PT Plans of Care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance programs, and functional mobility treatment

• Document daily treatment notes accurately and in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and facility standards

• Communicate patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising PT promptly

• Participate in IDT meetings and support discharge planning as directed by the supervising PT

Requirements:

• Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant license

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Prior SNF experience preferred

• Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills
