Job Description
Are you a recent Accounting Graduate and/or traveling Auditor in the Accounting field with some interest and experience in GASB 34 compliance? Are you detail-oriented and yearning for an opportunity to belong to something better? And we award for your performance. This role will involve regular travel in Kansas, Missouri, and other states. This is a salaried (w-2), 100% remote position
As a Consultant with HCA, a typical day might include:
- Collecting data and locating equipmenet at universities, colleges, and hospitals
- Analyzing data for project planning, execution and closure
- Working with senior team members to solve client-specific challenges
- Learning basic principles of commercial building construction
- Using your GASB 34 compliance knowledge to interpret data
- Interfacing with clients via meeting or telephone to discuss project scope and findings

- Travel overnight to client locations across the country 50%-70% of the time
- Be an expert using Excel (Access is also helpful) and MS Word
- Have public accounting experience with 2-4 years experience dealing with city/county GASB 34 compliance
- Have a valid driver’s license
