PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:

About the Role:
As a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting regular screenings of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment plan, performing treatment plans, and interpreting and communicating evaluation findings and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members. You will also establish individual resident therapy schedules, conduct therapy according to established treatment plans, and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular screenings of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment plan
• Perform treatment plans, following short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals based on the established plan of care
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plans, ensuring proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required to effectively treat patients
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
