Overview
MRI Technologist needed for a travel assignment in the Saratoga Springs, New York area. This MRI specialty role requires performing MRI procedures with the option to assist in CT when needed. Shift is 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, Monday–Friday, for a 5x8 evenings schedule. Start date is August 24, 2026. Duration is listed in weeks for a temporary assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,509 to $2,654, with hours not guaranteed. The assignment is in a hospital setting and uses Epic for charting. Candidate must have permanent New York licensure in place prior to start.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations with attention to patient safety, positioning, and high-quality imaging across body regions
- When required, perform CT scans with IV contrast, adhering to contrast administration protocols
- Administer IV contrast only if certified and per NY requirements; coordinate with radiology team for safe imaging workflow
- Position patients, select appropriate imaging sequences, and ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Document procedures and results in the Epic charting system; maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with radiology colleagues, follow department protocols, and may float within the hospital to support imaging services as needed

Requirements
- ARRT-MR certification (required)
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license (permanent) in hand prior to start; cannot begin with a temporary NY license
- New York IV contrast/injection certification required for administration of contrast in CT with contrast
- MRI experience: minimum 2 years in MRI
- CT experience desirable (able to perform CT scans when needed)
- Local residency restriction: candidates residing in Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, or Ulster counties will not be accepted for this assignment
- Must submit current Nursys verification and required certifications prior to start; completion of facility-required HealthStream modules prior to start
