Job Description
Scotch Institute of Ear, Nose & Throat is seeking to fill an Audiology Resident position (4th year). We are a division of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, one of the largest private practice otolaryngology groups in the country, and our offices are located in Wesley Chapel and Trinity, Florida - in the Tampa Bay community. Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group. A student can expect exposure to a wide variety of audiological services in a fast-paced ENT setting. Our institution is looking for ambitious, hardworking, and enthusiastic candidates with a dedication to providing quality patient care.
We are seeking to fill an Audiology Resident (4th year) position for the 2027-2028 academic year. The opening is for a full-time (Monday - Friday), paid position.
Position Offerings:
- Comprehensive diagnostic audiometric evaluations (pediatric and adult).
- Dispensing of state-of-the-art digital technologies and assistive listening devices.
- Tinnitus and Hyperacusis evaluation, counseling, and management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree, eligibility for Audiology Residency (4th year), and eligibility for Florida provisional Audiology license.
- Strong clinical foundation in diagnostic hearing and vestibular evaluations, as well as treatment and management of hearing loss.
- Strong communication and computer skills are required.
- A keen ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members is mandatory.
Physical Demands: Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Incumbent must also be able to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
