Responsibilities:

• Communicate with patients, clients, and team members, and maintain documentation of services in the medical record

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and team building approach with all patients, clients, and team members

• Consistently attend work and provide appropriate notice for scheduled paid time off

• Maintain productivity standards and demonstrate consistent knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

Essential Functions:

• Treat patients according to treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist, record clinical documentation, and record daily treatment charges

• Instruct families and nursing staff regarding restorative/home programs, participate in discharge planning, and communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress and problems

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other meetings as required or directed
