Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications

• Current Colorado COTA license or eligibility for Colorado licensure

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Passion for providing exceptional resident-centered care

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their highest level of independence

• Accurately document treatments and resident progress

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maximize resident outcomes

• Follow all state and federal regulations

• Adhere to facility policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned
