Location: Altavista, VA
Pay: 1st: $16/hr 2nd & 3rd: $16.55/hr
Shift: 1st Shift: 7am- 3:30pm 2nd Shift: 3-11:30pm 3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our team in Altavista, VA. This role is ideal for individuals with entry-level forklift experience who are looking for a steady, daytime schedule in a warehouse or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks
• Use forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets to load, unload, and move materials
• Transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Perform basic equipment checks and report issues as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 year previous experience
• Ability to follow safety rules and operating procedures
• Strong attention to detail and dependability
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
