Job Description
Priority Care Rehab Staffing is hiring for Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) in Manhattan, NY!
Support our PT clinical team delivering hands-on therapy to post-acute and long-term care residents. You'll work under PT supervision to carry out individualized treatment plans in a collaborative SNF environment. As an independent contractor you'll enjoy higher hourly rate and unlimited overtime.
Responsibilities:
Implement PT Plans of Care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance programs, and functional mobility treatment
Document daily treatment notes accurately and in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and facility standards
Communicate patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising PT promptly
Participate in IDT meetings and support discharge planning as directed by the supervising PT
Requirements:
Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Prior SNF experience preferred
Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills
