Avir at Plainview has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) in Plainview, TX!

Pay starts at $46 an hour and in increases based on experience.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional needs and physician orders.

• Administer physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve mobility, restore function, and promote overall wellness.

• Establish measurable goals and modify treatment plans based on patient progress.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, residents, and families to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide education and training to residents, family members, and caregivers.

• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation support staff as appropriate.

• Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care and regulatory requirements.

• Complete documentation accurately and timely in compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning conferences.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• SNF/Long-Term Care experience preferred but not required.

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.

• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
