We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing, in-house therapy program in a well-established skilled nursing facility (SNF) in St. Petersburg, FL.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments to improve ADLs, mobility, and independence

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Treat patients in a long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing setting

• Incorporate cognitive, behavioral, and functional rehab techniques

• Document treatments and progress using Net Health (or similar EMR)

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, OT, SLP, nursing, etc.)

• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and carryover strategies

• Active Florida COTA License (required)

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program

• SNF / LTC experience preferred but not required

• Interest or experience in cognitive therapy or behavioral health (a plus)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
