Physical Therapist -Full time and PRN

The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment programs for patients with a variety of physical impairments and functional limitations. The PT will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and enhance overall quality of life. 

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and medical histories to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Design and implement physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to improve patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities.

• Educate patients and their families on the physical therapy process, home exercise programs, and strategies to support recovery and prevent further injury.

• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients.

• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and other support staff, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and quality standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to maintain current knowledge and skills in the field of physical therapy.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments, progress notes, and other relevant documentation in compliance with Vivo Healthcare policies and regulatory requirements.

• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of practice as outlined by state and national regulatory bodies.
