Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

A beautiful, privately owned skilled nursing facility located in Massena is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Salary: $25/HR to $35/HR - Based On Experience

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and provides family oriented services to the home health patient with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; fine motor, sensory motor, and developmental delays; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders
• Providing initial and ongoing assessment to determine level of functioning.
• Preparing clinical progress notes.
• Evaluating outcomes.
• Planning Discharge.

Qualifications:

• Occupational Therapist license preferred
• Must have prior experience as an OT or COTA
• Must have experience in long term care
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Actively looking for ways to help people
