Join Our Growing Rehabilitation Team

Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care that promotes mobility, independence, functional improvement, and enhanced quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Implement individualized treatment programs designed to improve residents' mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional abilities.

  • Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, and recommendations to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Accurately document treatments, resident responses, progress notes, and other required clinical information in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals and discharge planning.

  • Assist with resident education regarding treatment plans, safety techniques, mobility strategies, and functional goals.

  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, state regulations, and federal guidelines.

  • Participate in care conferences and team meetings as appropriate.

  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic treatment environment for all residents.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required.

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Pennsylvania in good standing.

  • CPR certification preferred.

  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute settings preferred.

  • Experience with Net Health documentation software preferred.

  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
