Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist needed for a long term care facility located in Delhi, NY

Salary ranges from $75K to $95K

Responsibilities:

• The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing direct services to clients, and providing feedback to families and other team members.
• Conducting assessments of clients and developing and following treatment plans.
• Assessing home and school environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
• Evaluating results and progress of physical therapy on clients.
• Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients and families with the best treatment program available.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid New York Physical Therapist license
• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or University
• Must have experience in long term care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
