Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Colorado or eligibility through compact licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-centered care

  • Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident care and progress

  • Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life

  • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Follow all state and federal regulations governing therapy services

  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and professional standards

  • Promote resident independence, safety, and successful rehabilitation outcomes
