Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a Full Time PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) to join the team at our Long-Term Care Facility in Lafayette/Newton NJ.  We are offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits and a flexible schedule.  

Job Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a RPT (Physical Therapist)

• Follow all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA

• Provide documentation of patient's condition 

• Provide caregiver/patient education, as appropriate

• Discuss the patient's progress and any concerns regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Ensure safe treatment practices 

• Monitor patient's engagement and responses to treatment--modify as necessary

• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications

• Valid NJ professional license

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

• Prefer experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities

• New graduates are welcome
