Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Equipment Manager for a Temple based manufacturer.
Job Title: Equipment Room Manager
Job Status: Full-time
Job Location: Temple, TX
Work Hours: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, some OT as needed
Pay: $18-$20/hr to start DOE
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Equipment Manager is responsible for managing, distributing, and maintaining tooling and equipment for the Machine Shop. This role ensures that all the equipment is in proper working condition, organized, and readily available to support efficient machining operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Issue tooling, fixtures, and equipment to employees as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of tooling and equipment.
• Inspect tools and equipment for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Monitor equipment usage and notify the supervisor of shortages before depletion.
• Assist in setting up tools for machining operations as required.
• Experienced in using computer systems to track tool inventory and usage, and generate reports utilizing Microsoft software
• Ensure all tools and equipment is properly cleaned, stored, and organized
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurement tools.
• Maintains a safe, compliant work environment by following OSHA and company standards and reporting hazards or maintenance needs to the supervisor. Complies with PPE requirements and participates in safety training, drills, and incident reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Written and Verbal Communication and Attention to Detail
Manual Dexterity (use of hands), Physical Strength (lift/move up to 45 lbs.), Physical Stamina (stand for extended periods). Exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, airborne particles, chemicals and or fumes. Noise level can be loud, at times. Will work In a non-climate controlled environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, including machine operation safety, electrical safety, fall protection, and hazard communication
