We are seeking a talented and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our per diem team at North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida. Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interventions, including exercises, activities, and programs

• Utilize assistive technology and adaptive devices to facilitate patient independence

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Participate in staff education and training programs to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in occupational therapy

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

• Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office software
