Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Colorado or eligibility through compact licensure
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Strong communication and documentation skills
Passion for helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
Accurately document resident evaluations, treatments, and progress notes
Assist residents in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving overall function
Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality care
Follow all applicable state and federal regulations governing therapy services
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards
Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life through individualized treatment plans
