Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Colorado or eligibility through compact licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Passion for helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence

  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting

  • Accurately document resident evaluations, treatments, and progress notes

  • Assist residents in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving overall function

  • Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality care

  • Follow all applicable state and federal regulations governing therapy services

  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards

  • Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life through individualized treatment plans
