Responsibilities:
• Assist Occupational Therapists with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment sessions to improve residents' functional abilities, mobility, and cognitive skills
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, including exercises, activities, and modalities, to promote resident wellness and safety
• Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, resident progress, and communicate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet residents' unique needs
Requirements:
• Current COTA certification or eligibility to take the certification exam
• Completion of an occupational therapy assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
• Minimum 0 years of experience as a COTA (new graduates welcome to apply!)
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with minimal assistance
