with possibility of bundled hours during the holiday season


Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patient conditions.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

  • Assist in achieving departmental performance targets and quality metrics.

  • Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

  • Document patient assessments and care activities accurately and timely.

  • Engage in self-evaluation and seek feedback for personal growth.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

  • Manage time efficiently to prioritize patient care and administrative tasks.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Current RN license and certification in Telemetry Nursing.

  • Strong ability to monitor and interpret telemetry readings.

  • Experience in a medical-surgical telemetry unit preferred.

  • Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.

  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and infection control.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

  • Proficiency in documenting patient care activities accurately.

  • Experience in achieving departmental performance targets.

  • Ability to engage in quality improvement initiatives.

  • Strong time management skills for prioritizing tasks.
